Smite Patch Notes fans! The latest patch for the game has just gone live and we have some new information to share about it. First up, we have a look at the new God, Hel, and her abilities. Then, we have the list of new skins that are now available in the game.
Thor, God of Thunder
The newest god to join the fray in Smite is Thor, God of Thunder. With his powerful melee attacks and ability to summon lightning bolts, Thor can quickly turn the tides of battle in his favor. Along with his new skin and abilities, Thor comes complete with a brand new voice line and soundtrack! Check out the all-new Thor below:
Thor’s Abilities:
– Storm Hammer: Throws a hammer that damages and knocks back enemies it hits.
– Lightning Hammer: Throws a hammer that shocks enemies it hits and causes them to be unable to move for a brief time.
– Thunder Clap: Summons a massive thunderclap that damages and staggers enemies near the impact location.
– Hammer of Strength: Grants strength temporarily to Thor, increasing his damage dealt and reducing the damage taken by nearby allies.
– Might of Thor: Increases the power of all Thor’s abilities for a short period of time.
Zeus, God of the Sky and Thunder
Zeus is a new god added to Gods Awakened, and he brings with him new abilities and skins!
Zeus can summon gusts of wind that damage enemies, and he also has a passive that causes his attacks to deal extra damage to airborne targets. His ultimate ability causes a huge thunderbolt to strike down at an enemy, dealing massive damage and stunning them for several seconds.
Zeus’s skins are based on the elements: Fire, Water, Air, and Earth. Fire Zeus is based on the god of fire, Apollo; Water Zeus is based on the god of water, Neptune; Air Zeus is based on the god of air, Mercury; and Earth Zeus is based on the god of earth, Gaia.
Osiris, God of the Dead and Ruler of the Underworld
Osiris, God of the Dead and Ruler of the Underworld, is now available as a playable god in Gods Awakened! He comes with new abilities and skins to take your playstyle to new heights.
New God Osiris: Osiris is a powerhouse god who rewards players who manage their resources carefully. His abilities reward sustained damage over short bursts, and his ultimate rewards clever teamplay. As the Lord of the Underworld, Osiris is well-suited to punishing enemies who cross him.
New Osiris Skin: The Lord of the Underworld comes with a new skin that reflects his dark and sinister origins. His skin is black and green, with a skull emblem emblazoned on his chest. This skin gives Osiris an imposing look that will help you intimidate your opponents.
Osiris is now available for purchase in the store for 500 gold or 5 diamonds. If you already have Osiris as a god, you will be automatically updated to his latest version when he becomes available in the game.
Apollo, God of the Sun and Music
Apollo is the newest god to join the Smite roster, and his arrival has set the world of Gods Awakened on fire. In addition to his new abilities and skins, we’ve also got some big changes coming to the God of the Sun himself. Read on for all the details!
First off, Apollo now has a Passive called Sun’s Radiance that increases his healing and damage done by 25% while he remains in the area of effect. His Ultimate ability, Eclipse, will now cause all enemies within a large radius to take magic damage over time and be slowed. Finally, his passive skill, Music of the Sun, grants him a stack every time he critically strikes an enemy with an ability or basic attack. These stacks increase his critical strike chance by 3%.
In addition to Apollo, we’ve also got some changes coming to skins for some of Smite’s gods. Sobek will now have a skin called The Predator that gives him a darker look with enhanced movement speed and damage bonuses.
