Detailed description of the Bharat Darshan Park
Bharat Darshan Park is a concept which is created using waste materials by the South Delhi Municipal Corporation. The purpose of naming it Bharat Darshan Park is to show the talent of Indians to the visitors. The park opened for visitors to experience this creative beauty in the capital of the country, Delhi, on 25th December 2021 (birth date of former Prime Minister of the country- Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee).
The inauguration of the park was performed by Hon. Amit Shah ( Home Minister), and many other supreme ministers also attended the program- ministers, officials of BJP, officials of MCD, etc.
Bharat Darshan Park is a sprawling expanse that spans over 8.5 acres. It features replicas of 21 iconic monuments from across India, all crafted from around 350 tons of scrap material. Inspired by the success of the Waste to Wonder Park in Sarai Kale Khan, the SDMC initiated the Bharat Darshan Park in Punjabi Bagh. The monument’s replicas are created from waste which is also the reason behind its huge popularity among seekers.
